Live For Today

Spreading out the map of time
Of the future, present and the past.
Yesterday has slipped away,
Tomorrow's coming fast.

I should be living for today.
But a dreamer is what I am.
I dream about tomorrow,
Always making a new plan.

Before you know it tomorrow's come,
And now it's yesterday.
Another day lost, behind me now.
Just dreaming my time away.

Now sitting here with regrets.
I've now become a wisher.
If I could do things different
I'd wish to do things over.

So live life to the fullest.
And take it one day at a time.
For tormorrow's dreams become yesterday's wishes.
And are lost somewhere down the line.
