The rain falls.
And, as I sit here by my window
Within these four walls,
I begin to think of you.

The rain falls.
And as each drop touches the flower petals
I can almost hear your voice as it calls,
"I Love You."

The tears fall.
And as they flow from my eyes,
They number more than the rain as it starts to fall
To replenish the earth.

The rain falls.
And as I look up at the sky
I think I see your face even though it's not there at
         all
With tears in your eyes.

The rain falls
It represents tears of happiness.
Because you are my all in all,
And I love you.

The rain falls
It represents tears of sorrow
Becuase you are not here at all,
And I miss you.

The rain falls.

Good one Sven!, Break a leg!.

..........

There is no more turning back this way
The path is overgrown and strewn with thorns
They've torn the lifeblood from your naked eyes
Cast aside to be forlorn..

Sven -

I have an umbrella of love
to shelter you from the rain.
Cast the rain aside
and if you're in a muddle
grab my hand and we will jump
over the little rain puddles.

*Nice one Sven

Thank you all. . . Rainbow Girl, it would be my pleasure to jump into the puddles with you and Marge. . . then later, we could all make mud pies!

Thank you also Denise and Elizabeth. . . sometimes the sadness is too apparent. . .

I love the rain, so of course, the title caught my attention and the poem that resides below , even more so. This is really well done, the picture it paints vivid, the flow smooth and the words heartfelt. Nice poem

Sven,
We should be singing in the rain.
Enjoyed the read.
