Darkness Darkness overcomes me but I shudder not from fright. Reality is hidden in the stillness of the night. Welcome blessed darkness. What a comfort you can be. For where the light is lurking truth is easier to see. Shielded from all heartache in the dark I plainly see my dreams and all desires are attained and comfort me. Life is but a season. And this season I will spend. Now I abide in darkness. Dreaded darkness will you end? ------------------ Lorene Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me, it will beat the heck out of day before yesterday! |

Sometimes we tremble not of cold But of the visions we behold I'll think about your poem tonight As soon as I turn off the light I like it Liz |

Really touched familiarality with me. The dark does seem to be where desires are attained. Nice work! |
