Why is it only once a year Around this very time, It seems the worlds attitudes Perk up from all the grime? The cheerfulness we're seeing And the spirit of just giving Why can't we do this all year In our everyday life living? I'm thankful that it comes to us If even once a year If it makes us stop and think Of those we hold so near Don't ya think the spirit of This Christmas giving cheer Should be with everyone of us All throughout the year? If we could take the season And make it last a whole year long Instead of spending money But use love, we can't go wrong! Thanks RSEvans...would be wonderful if we tried. Bal' who says it can't? In all reality I know it won't be in this lifetime. Just wish people would take time to see what's really important. It isn't the cost of the gifts, but the gifts of love that mean the most. We don't need to wait for Christmas to give those. Ohme, Thank you so very much! |
