Ruiz Is far too eager to please, Unwilling to do the mental striptease And face the chill of a rejection deep-freeze. Ruiz Is unwilling to create unease. In writing, he prefers to appease And express those words that give the heart ease. Ruiz Hates to express what he foresees And usually writes so the reader agrees. I'm sorry, I'm lost with this one Bridget. who is Ruiz? A famous American writer/poet? I have no idea! LOL However, I do know how hard it is to write a poem with only the same end rhyme and you did a great job. |

Sunshine--Thank you for reading and the kind response. Munda--Ruiz is no one in particular. It was simply a name that rhymed. In this case, Ruiz is simply the personification of any writer that struggles with these writing difficulties. Nan--Thanks for the fresh breeze of your kind comment. |
