My heart
can never break,
can't be crushed or battered.
What would be the use? You can't break

Private pain, public apology.

Sorry, Nan. I wronged you.

Gravel
Exposed to tides
Kibbles to sandy beach
Wafts freely upon offshore breeze
Heart's flight

Morning Tears

As morning fog lifts
and the sunlight comes flooding
through my wet garden,
even the night is forgiven
and daffodils weep for joy.
