Here is my first cinquain.... Visions Flittering blind Death now as thunder strikes Red, purple, blue sickening me Nightmare And here is my second.... Marriage Husband and wife To love and to cherish Souls entwined blending into one Wedlock "Somewhere, somehow, it should be possible to touch someone and never let go again. To hold someone, not for a moment but forever." Andre Brink |

And both of 'em good. I like the first best, because it has bold imagery and strong movement (yeah, a guy thing, but good for this form) and a pretty stark emotional content. But -- each of them stands well. The second has a softer subject and softer tone, but well within the strike zone for cinquain. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
