They cross from spirit world into this place vague shadows whose out-lines oft' shift and change as wisps of fog before a freshened breeze the path of written words to re-arrange What form they'll take is cloaked in mystery above persistant clouds of stifling doubt which guard our best achievements I believe as Inklings in full voice scream " LET ME OUT " The pen moves 'cross the page of own accord ghost vessel on a course for destiny let that which Inklings set before these eyes in time reveal what's not seen presently Where Inklings lead , there I, with words come slow, God-speed us on where ever we might go. |

Small note on Inklings that you probably know about. Inklings was the name of an ad hoc literature society that included CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien. The term was probably generic in one sense that they just took it and applied it to themselves. I like this poem as well as its partner. |
