My apologies , this seems to have more alliteration than it does onomatapaic words . But , then again , I'm just a moose , and poetry , for me's absurd ... Sap sizzles slowly , echoing our kiss , feathers of flame making clear their desire . Outdoors drops rain , a slight drizzling mist , ease in with me here to gaze at the fire . Crackle of charring wood , serpentine smoke , sensuous shadings reflect from your hair , whispered sweet nothings , stirred embers awoke , shimmering glimmers of sparks fill the air . Scootch over closer love , snuggled , secure , share softened glow as fades fires' white heat . Primal in passion , be now not demure , 'twas we who together set fire to sheets . They smoulder still yet , their threat to ignite sputtering flames as new sparks take to flight . |

Dr. M, (Scootching over) Sizzling sentiments are versed In flickering flames my heart immersed trying not to blindly choke escaping from your bedroom smoke sheets and mattress all afire somehow squelch the heart’s desire to taste the sweetness of love’s nectar in shrilling beep of smoke detector But then again, it’s now or never Two flaming hearts on fire together I ‘d endure the red hot ember For just one night that I’ll remember Intense the heat of passion’s fire Sizzling cracks in lover’s pyre Gone forever two dear souls Who dared to love upon the coals Your poem sizzles! Marge , Thank you , must be these cold nights here in Bewilderment got me to thinking firelight and , oh well , other things . Doc Titia , Glad you enjoyed . Cigarette after ? Doc Elizabeth , Your poetic reply brought much needed smiles , I must beware of such feminine wiles . Way too much sizzling going on here . Suffice it to say I think you're a dear . Doc Apachecat906 , Sweater ? Careful there , Miss Nanners does have a certain dress code yanno , oh , and no running nekkid through the halls either . Thanks . Doc Sorry Miss Nanners , Guess I got a little carried away . I'd say it won't happen again , but , who knows ? Doc Charisma , Thank you . Nothing like a nice warm fire to keep the chill away . Doc |

A poetry writing Moose is absurd as it is, but a Moose with a heart and passion? ~shaking head~ You'd almost think he's human. ![]() ![]() |
