I admit it... I cheated.. I wrote this last year at Halloween...   Gather ‘round my little sweets - Cackling, Cackling, Sorceress Time is nigh for Trick or Treats Gainsay ye wont WickedNess Cackling, Cackling, Sorceress Big black bats for lamian stew Gainsay ye wont WickedNess Bubbling, bubbling brimful brew Big black bats for lamian stew Come join in my Wiccan fun Bubbling, bubbling brimful brew You shall see how magick’s done Come join in my Wiccan fun Churning, Churning changelings do You shall see how magick’s done We’ll make ghouls of all of you Churning, Churning changelings do Closer, Closer, cauldron’s call We’ll make ghouls of all of you Halloween spooks one and all Closer, Closer, cauldron’s call Time is nigh for Trick or Treats Halloween spooks one and all Gather ‘round my little sweets. Waft every crest upon your destined sea Embrace the Wave of Serendipity Lest its elusive arcane ecstasy Refurl with sail for all eternity Nan Ness |

 Now this was a mighty awesome poem, but I will be darned if I know what any of you are even talking about LOL  , what the hey is a PantOunomatAlliterAssoNance, an onomahuppelepup, an onoheckuvapoem,an ohnocheatfromlastyearbutawesomegood, and what the heck is a Halloweeny Onomatopoetic? Oh now I get it! Is it a nasty villanelle on Halloween? BOO!  Hmmm, well I sort of thought it was just "areallycuteandnottooscaryHalloweenypoem", but that is what this little Canadian would call it anyway. Nan , I'm not sure if it's technically cheating as long as you admit to it at some point , still , as "shethatwewouldmostliketowritelike" I would hope you will favor us with an updated piece . But I got side-tracked , what I wanted to say was , this was a fantastic Pantoum .( I think I might make writing one a side project ) Doc |
