Iambic flow shall not impede this plunge
nor shall inherent lack of ending rhyme
The content of this piece shall dictate what
will float upon this page now set adrift

No easy task this current pull is strong
to ask for elements to fall in place
The stroke of my intentions slips away
reflecting more the riffles than the pools

Expanding circles out beyond my range
their forms become too vast that I might hold
As if the hand that writes is of itself
an entity complete not part of me

Such thoughts perhaps at times may sound absurd
yet here and now within crest full and flow

"As if the hand that writes is of itself

Exactly how I feel with this assignment! LOL Still working on it though.
Again you did a great job Doc and in fluent iambic too!
No rhyme... rhyme... how will I survive!

Munda ,
Yeah , "Teach" really threw us a curve this time , and then she takes right off galavanting to Florida ! I think there might be another blank verse about that in the works !

Beautiful use of blank verse... something I'll never achieve! LOL!

Hats off to you, my friend!

Another perfect one!  I think writing these things must be as natural to you as breathing!  I love the humor in it too!

Lovebug ,
Self imposed limitations are just that .I don't have any that I'm aware of .Thanks !
Doc

Romy ,
Yes , sometimes this seems as natural as breathing to me , other times , I am sorely reminded of my short-comings . Thanks , just write , it will all fall in to place .
Doc
