He weaves into the fibres of my soul Impervious to the power he possesses How i try to contain my minds meanderings to a heart mindful of what it confesses I am overwhelmed by my helplessness of the struggle against the confines The torment of a spirit unable to conform to what my destiny has already defined How do you tame whats enclosed therein born alone and not willing to share emotions buried deep in my psyche That i only unto myself do compare Why can't he see the torment he weaves self adhearing with each sinewy strand conflicting with the aloneness of me hopelessly captured by what is known as man swallowed remanants of a past self Now shared amongst the remains of she In the blood that flows to create my life now combined with the creation of we |

"I am overwhelmed by my helplessness" Suzanne, now that's an excellent way to phrase it.... *sigh*..... i certainly could identify with this .... you did a very good job with the imagery.... i really liked "each sinewy strand"/..... *ahhh* of this verse you have woven...  |
