Noah's Nark

Noah knew knowledge nobody knows
Waters would willfully wash worldly woes
For fortunate family, future flooding foretold
Brothers built bulky boat bearing beasties bifold

An able apprentice appointed an ark
Enticing entire enrollment’s embark
Collecting cute creatures catagorically classed
An admirable animal abundance amassed

Prolific pure pairs plodded pliable plank
Diving deep down deliverance’s den dark and dank
Assuming adventure and ample amuse
Creatures cooly condoned classy Carnival Cruise

Dual dappled dalmations delightfully danced
Proud peacocky partners presumptuously pranced
Paired playful panthers pleasantly pounced
Fine feathered pheasants flutterly  flounced

Elegant elephants’ entered enthused
Both baboon babies brought bashful bemuse
Rambunctious rabbits readily refused
Quivering cowards quite quickly confused

Holding heaven’s hewn helm hautily high
Noah now navigated new nations nearby
Floundering forward forewarning frustration
At animals anxiety and anticipation

Noah nervously neared nebulous knowhow
But bungling bird bravely brought beauteous bough
Scurrilous seas suddenly slowly succumbed
Setting slithering ship striking slippery scum

Arduously alighting atop Ararat
Allowing all  animals anxious attack
Entire entourages ecstatically escaped
Dapperly darting down deep drifting drape

Avowing avenge at an asinine act
Coercing caged creatures close constant contact
Triumphantly twosomes tromped tritely together
Flocking from forefather’s feather forever

I love it, even if you have flipped your lid

             or

If one is permitted an insidious quip
Liz' critical lid did a hideous flip.

Dear Ted
I am quite amused by your critical views
But please pen retorts with alliterate muse
And please do not tempt my alliterate wit
I'm equipped to flip quite gripping quick quipping quips
Narkily yours
Liz

Ted, Love your sense of humor, and your sonnet on writing sonnets is great. i keep going back to read it. I'm waiting to see what you do with alliteration. Hope you have time for the assignment.
