well you guys here's one for ya'll: i walked to the store -yesterday- sun shining. pretty girls smile i laugh them off. neighborhood kid, asks for a five... i give it to him. old people sit, tell me hi i wave. i reached the store, it was closed. how odd. i turned around and went home. and here's another one: the stars floated in their deep black sea like wooden ships of days of old gently moving from one point to the next. and a gentle wind wisped and played grabbing autumn leaves fresh fallen fromtrees taking them on a loopy ride to their final resting place. and quietly i sat there under an old, wide oak listening to the everpresent symphony of the creatures of the night: a croak in the dark distance, spiny legs rubbing together to rivalPaginini, the low hoot of nature's oboe. i sighed a deep sigh of exhaustion and rested my weary eyes a bit thinking how happy i was to be alive. rich-pa, I like them both very much, but especially the second one. It must be Paganini ! I love his violin concertos...sigh. ![]() |
