I do not regret the day we met when you never said "hi" I do not regret when you bumped into me and nearly made me cry I do not regret the way you noticed me like i never walked the Earth I do not regret the words you said to me which brought me so much hurt I do not regret the things you do but anger filled my heart I do not regret the girls you date but its tearing me apart I do not regret the dreams i've dreamed together you and me I do not regret the wishes i've wished one day you will see I do not regret the close moments we've had and the things I said to you but there's one thing I DO regret is never telling that I LOVE YOU! This poem is really about a close friend of mine who loved a guy that treated her like nothing but she, still to this day, regrets never telling him that she loved him so much.I dedicate this poem to her and hope that she can heal from the wounds he's cause her, but there will always be scars. |
