DAYDREAM

Sitting here in class,
I realize that I'm daydreaming
about you again.

I'm picturing your arms
holding me tight,
keeping me safe.

I keep hearing your voice,
telling me everything
will be all right.

I feel your lips on mine,
giving me a kiss
that promises your love.

Now I hear the bell,
jarring me from my daydream,
only for me to dream it again.

I love poems that are that real. I can really relate to this one. Great, I love it.

I agree with Kitty. Real-life stuff is the best. especially when you can relate to it. Great poem.

Thank you Kitty and Stephanie. I actually wrote that poem while I was thinking about the guy I've fallen head over heels for. I really appreciate your support!

Hey i gotta say that is true in life. When you really have feelings for a person, they take over your mind. Well writin and with feelings. Good stuff. Keep on writing.
