You say you loved me.
You say you cared.
You say you didn't want to hurt me.
But was that true?
Now that you are gone, I'm not sure.
My dread has grown more.
While all my love is now fading.
Soon I will be alone.
You will still have your friends to rely on.
And all I will have is my own blood to swallow.
My heart beats slowly and weak.
Soon it will stop and never beat again.
Only hoping for that time I shall be one with death.
Then my pain and agony shall be gone.
And this is all because of you.

I love your poem.  I just had a recent breakup, and that's how I feel about life right now, too.

Ahhh... don't fret over this one person.  There are so many other people in the world to care about, and you just had feelings for one.  Just remember Girlfriends and Love come and go, but friends are there forever.
