I have felt the sun

I have felt the sun

The sun peeps over the whispering trees
        and under it's gaze
                the clouds blush a bright pink.

       The waves reflect the sun
               breaking it into pieces
and bringing piece by piece to me.

And I touch the waves
               and it is cool but sends
       the warmth of the sun
into my soul.

Then the waves form ripples
      fragmenting the sun into nothingness
                and only I have felt the sun.

hey you are a pretty good poet yourself, although the only thing I didnt understand was why the lines are all spaced out like that. Also I am going to apoligize to you for all the people in here for not posting a reply to this cool poem, I know how it feels. Great imagery, keep it up

I got my inspiration from watching the sun rise at the beach for this poem. Hope that helps.
