Our lives are short, why do we waste The minutes ticking by? On hateful thoughts and ugly things, That rob us of our time. Animosity and cruelty, Blacken out our skies. They taint our hearts and ruin a soul, Causing other ones to cry. Enjoy your life just as it is, Be grateful for what you have. Love fully from the core of you, Each day as if your last, The things you find with in your reach, Are not things from your past. Today is all we really have, Live it as you must. Tomorrow may just never come, Who will be the sorry one? [This message has been edited by Marilyn (edited 01-03-2000).] |

Nicely done, the reader said I like the way it flows. It goes so well, I hardly could Believe it wasn't prose And I agree whole heartedly With the message that you give Of pure and wonderous lifestyles That so few of us do live. Sorry about that---^ sometimes I do these things... |

Mr. Jones, please feel free to comment to any of the works here in verse. It is the greatest compliment of all. To inspire one to write a reply in verse. I compliment you on your reply...nicely said and well written. |

Great advice, my friend! This says so much with very little words. Keep it up, I would personally like to see more here! *Krista Knutson* One lives in the hope of becoming a memory. ~*Antonio Porchia*~ |
