I lie awake at night thinking of what to do.
Should I try and work things out or just get rid of you?

Why I wait for you to call, I still do not know
Because any feelings of liking me, you no longer show.

You know the way I feel about you and how I cherish the time we share,
But it breaks my heart to see that you are beginning to not care.

I wish you'd say if you want to be with me or if you want this to end.
Please let me know right now, my heart needs time to mend.

If you've led me on, then you are nothing but cruel.
I'm even starting to blame myself for being such a fool.

And yet I lie awake at night wondering what to do
When deep down I know I should just get rid of you.

Yeah, you would be a fool to think that this poem and your abilities sux...they dont...they dont even come close...this is quite possibly the best poem that i can relate too, and that's why i read poetry, so i can relate...please feel free to email me at anytime, k?

Never stop writing! Poetry is for the writer as well as the reader. It helps to write your feelings and thoughts. If one doesn't like it or doesn't relate to it...10 more will. Writing is about feeling and sharing as well as improving your craft. It all depends on which angle you look at it from.

Do you enjoy writing poetry? Then NEVER stop! No matter what someon's reaction might be to a poem, write for yourself more than for anyone else.
