Christmas Time (it's a little late) |

Christmas Time As the wind slowly blows, with the white flakes of snow, And the carols begin to be sung. You'll know that magical time has begun! Christmas, the time for presents and joy. A time for shopping for that hard to find toy. The time to get ready for the coming of Chris Cringle. A time for the triumph bells to jingle. Time to watch the gifts pile up under the tree. Or is it something more we just don't see? What's the meaning of this wonderful season? Have our hearts lost focus of the real reason? Christmas is the time to put all differences aside. To put all your wants at hide. And reach out for the hand in need, to help the hungry feed. Have love for all mankind. Be a friend to all those you find. Taking a moment out of your day, a kind caring word is all you need to say. Let your heart be full of Christmas cheer, And let it last all throughout the year. No matter how many presents or where you live The greatest feeling you'll have is when you give. And you see someone's face light, Oh it is such a glorious sight. But, Christ the lord is the reason for all this love, It all started when a bright star shined down from above. So Please as you go through out with season, Remember the reason. _____________________________ Merry Christmas Everyone! Love, Misty |

Merry Christmas to you too Misty! It's still the Christmas season albeit the day itself is overwith. Beautiful work! Elizabeth Nail to the mast her holy flag, Set every threadbare sail- And give her to the god of storms, The lightning and the gale! -Oliver Wendell Holmes |

The poem is great. It also apperars to be a symbol poem in that its almost shaped like a christmas tree, i was wondering if this was intended. |

I like this one. I'm just tring to figure out how I missed this poem. It was posted the day after Christmas and I'm replying now. Well, better late then never. Right? It's a good poem. Your right, we do need to focus on what Christmas is all about. Good message. |

Yeah better later then never! Thanks for the reply! And I have no clue how you missed it except only a couple of people answered when I first posted it then it was far down on the list. That's probly why you missed it! But thanks for the reply Jer! |
