When the lights go out and everyone is sleeping,I dream of happier thoughts. The days when things seemed like nothing could go wrong. That was before I lost you. You taught me so much. You taught me how to love and how to let go. At least your in a better place. Where you can no longer hurt. I will never forget the long hours you spent trying to explain my math. I may have been a mistake but thank you for seeing past that. Thank you for loving me and thank you for being the most wonerful person in the world. I'll never forget you for you have found a special place in my heart. When the lights go out I remember my grandfather who ment the world to me and now watches me from heaven. |

Shorty Du Opp- I think that your poem is so beautiful! It's so thoughtful of you to write a poem for your grandfather. I lost my grandmother about eight years ago. We were never especially close, but I loved her with all my heart, and I know just exactly how you feel! Thank you for sharing! ------------------ *~*Laura*~* "Dream over me with a tear, anything it takes to wish me here. I agree with you, Laura-this is a great poem! And I can tell that it definitely came strait from your heart! Losing someone that you love may be one of the hardest things to ever deal with. But one of the most important things that you can do is to never forget them! And I can see you haven't! This is great! Melissa ![]() |
