Gremlins  They scamper in the shadows In the darkness they are rife, Flying the standard of pure mischief Causing havoc in your life, Your alarm clock fails to wake you You think "well, that's bizarre," Running late already, and You cannot start your car, Making automations fail us Maybe just hiding your keys, The gremlin revolution Is going to bring you to your knees, You may think this is fiction Most unlikely to occur, In your blissful unawareness With the future to defer, They are the glitches in the system Or the bugs in your program, A phone-line out of order Or a photocopier jam, Their force soon merged together With insane delirium, Unite against computers Come the next millennium. Love will be the end of us... |
