I wrote this for my best friend's proposal to his girlfriend...just so ya'll know.

Heart-Shaped Box

My heart-shaped box is all I need
to show my depth in you.
It's never foolish, it doesn't leave,
it just stays red and true.
You're the only one who has
a key to get inside.
Come to me, unlock my heart...
I'll meet you stride for stride.
In the center is my treasure-
the greatest I can give.
In your eyes, I lose control...
you're all I need to live.
So you're the one, the only one
who may find out what's within.
Just touch my hand and close your eyes.
You'll never cry again.

"In your eyes, I lose control...
you're all I need to live." This is my favorite line. This is a beautiful poem and I'm sure your friend and his girlfriend will think so as well.  Very touching. Good job!
