Today I realized something....
I realized that my friends will not be around forever
That we will not always be togather
That the time we have is short
And there are so many feelings still to sort
But somehow, I will make it
And my heart will be able to take it.

I realized that memories do last forever
That my memories and I will always be togather
That the time we have is long
And forever they stay strong
And now I know that I can make it
And I have proven that my heart can take it.

I think that a lot of people can really relate to this. We have a lot of things in life that eventually fade away, but we can always have the memories of them. I like the way that you wrote this poem. Nice job!

Very nicely written. It's good that you have realized these things some people don't. I've got to admit sometimes i feel i won't make it, but in the end i know i will. Anyhow keep up the work.

Passing youth, faded deisres,fleeting emotions,first friendship, first kiss,hug,love etc are all wonderful memmories which cannot be erased. Hold on to your memmories,dreams and everything which made you a good person in life.
