the boy with purple hair i watched from afar never imagining he would be mine he had such an air of confidence barely noticing all the eyes upon him i hoped he didn't notice mine now when he catches me staring, he kisses me and tells me he loves me my boy with purple hair. *Jasmine* |

I love this poem! Really I do, I cant really explain it, but it really caught my attention. Awesome stuff. Lucidity is the answer to all problems |

This is such a sweet poem. ![]() It is always good to feel this way. It's good for the soul. ![]() ~AF~ "Poetry is the language in which man explores his own amazement." Christopher Fry |

I really like this piece! Very nicely written and compact, but very expressive... * * * he had such an air of confidence barely noticing all the eyes upon him i hoped he didn't notice mine * * * I love that verse... Just great. ...Daysleeper... "We prefer to do things comfortably" said the Controller. "But I don't want comfort. I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want sin." "In fact," said Mustapha Mond, "you're claiming the right to be unhappy." "Alright then," said the Savage defiantly, "I'm claiming the right to be unhappy." -Aldous Huxley "Brave New World" |
