I found this is my little sisters room...its about our parents divorce.

If friends are always there,
shoulndn't parents be too?
They say the'll always be forever,
and that forever never ends,
Then dad comes in and breaks the promise
by saying,
"I'm leaving"
and he forgets all of us and his promise.
Mom acts like nothing happened,
Big sis says not to cry
and little bro doesn't understand.
Am I the only one who cares about this family?
Dads got a girlfriend,
who knows what they do.
Marriage is a commitment of love,
well at least thats what I have been taught.
I guess mom and dad didnt love each other
Well at least not enough,
to keep this family together.
So dont believe when people say forever,
because forever isnt what they mean.

The dreaded double post strikes again!!!!

BTW: This is an amazing poem, ironic that such beauty comes from such utter tragedy.

Oh....how horribly sad that your sis should feel like that. I hope she allows herself to trust again when the time is right. This is a beautiful poem...

Love and hugs,
Lizzie
