Set Me Free The world keeps on spinning, Why can't I make time freeze? I'm so caught up in emotions, Sometimes I forget to breathe. Dreams of being perfect Run wildly through my head. But when will I be good enough? I won't ever be ahead. These questions are sitting in my mind, What's the secret to life? It's answer lies inside my heart, Why can't I take my own advice? The wounds of fear are on my wrist, The world put these chains on me, It locked me up inside these walls, But I threw away the key. Someday my wings will be strong enough And strength will be shown to me Until then I pray every night, That He will set me free. |

There's not a secret to life, only a meaning, and that meaning is different for each person. The challenge and adventure in this world is making that discovery of what life means to each of us and how we can make a difference in a world where our relationships to each other are the only lasting treasures. Great poem! This is cheesy, I know, but I feel it needs to be said. *ahem...* Sometimes in our lives, We all have pain, We all have sorrow, But, if we are wise We know that there's Always tomorrow!
