Make-up running from her face Her tears fall to the floor She cries for many reasons She wants to live no more She seeks comfort in the arms Of a long-time simple friend She cries upon the shoulder In a stream that wont soon end Her silent cries are soon released Never to relent She feels all used up As if her life was spent In the comfort of her friend Of a long-time simple nature She cries her eyes till they are dry And she finds hope in her friends shoulder -------------- This was written about a girl in a class of mine that was sad...but was trying to hide it...but i could tell...she inspired me then and there...and I let her read it when I was done...she said it was cute..then asked with a smiling face "Is my make-up really running?" |

Simple friends are often the best at time such as those in your poem. It reminds me of a time long ago, or maybe it was only a month ago, suppose it really doesn't matter much, anywho back to my point (and i do have one!) Its hard when you know someone close to you is sad, worse when you know you can do nothing about it, Keep up the good work! -------------------------------- "Relax nothing could possiby...possibly, oh no!" |
