I couldn’t call I couldn’t speak I had to act helpless and weak

I couldn’t run I couldn’t hide I did as told and sucked in my pride

I couldn’t wait I couldn’t go I couldn’t let my feelings show

I couldn’t shout I couldn’t pray I couldn’t waste another day

I couldn’t hope I couldn’t wish I couldn’t waste another kiss

I couldn’t beg I couldn’t ask I couldn’t remove my plastic mask

I couldn’t push I couldn’t shove I couldn’t tell you of my love

I couldn’t think I couldn’t hear All that I could do was fear

I couldn’t manage I couldn’t deal I couldn’t tell you how I feel

I couldn’t choke I couldn’t breathe so then it was my time to leave

I couldn’t learn I couldn’t know so then it was my time to go

I couldn’t tell I couldn’t lie so then I had to say goodbye.

This is a very good poem, I think....I liked your use of words in this.
