A really good friend of mine inspired me to write this poem. I wrote it for a drill that she coaches. I hope you like it!

Your life is full of endless dreams,
and they're not as far off as though they may seem.
You should always set yourself a high goal,
and reach for it with all your soul.

Everyday you're given a test,
which is to see if you've worked your best.
You can have all the success in life that you want,
as you know what to do and what not.

Everyone is unique in his or her own special way,
and you show this everyday.
If you believe in yourself, than you will succeed.
Believing in yourself is a definite need.

You should always do what you know is right,
and your life will take off like an airplane flight.

All of your dreams can come true.
If only you know what it is you must do.

You should always reach for the stars,
and your life will improve by far.

Your life is full of endless dreams,
but they're not as far off as they may seem.

I know a Laura Mitchell....know her quite well accually. Would you be that same Laura? Do you live in B.C. Canada? If this is you...what are you doing posting in teen?

dear laura
you are right, our poetry styles are very simaler. Some of your images were unbeleivable and so true, i know when i first began to beleive in myself my life took off like one of those jumbo jets.
and just yesterday i was begining to think that i was just like everyone else, but those lines about being special, about being unique, man they hit me so hard, i feel like a new man, a new man ready to pursue new dreams and new wishes, thank you so much.
