Goodbye friend this is the end when I give up on you I've tried so hard to keep you as a friend but you've left me in the end alone without my friend Tears roll down my face as I regret to say goodbye to you but I've given up on this friendship No matter what I did or how I told you what I felt you've yet to shown me that it even matters to you so today is the day that I turn my back I strain as I fight back the tears saying goodbye to you was one of my fears I thought you were my friend forever but nothing good for me ever works out My life seems so worthless without you dear friend but I'm putting you in the back of my mind a forgotten pain I've tried as much as I could tried too many times but I've realized this friendship is nothing anymore Forgetting you will be difficult a friend I found so dear a sister a angel that has flown away from me walked out of my life without looking back I will move on I will find another friend who makes me happy the same happiness you gave me So today old friend I say goodbye to you hoping to forget you and how much you hurt me Your memory will remain in my mind although unwanted but I'll never forget you nor the way we use to be These tears I cry are for the memories of the happiness we use to share Goodbye you will be missed but will be replaced like you replaced me This poem is written for a friend who's left me and replaced me, forgetting me and our friendship. This is my way of saying goodbye to her. |

This is really good writing. I'm sorry that you lost such a good friend, a person is lucky to have only a couple of real friends, but at least you are able to move on and not dwell on the past. You have your memories, and you will never forget those, and your friend cannot take them with her. Good luck. Rachel |

I'm sorry your friendship didn't work out, Poe. I hope you find the strength to work through your pain. I know how hard it is to lose a dear friend. I'm glad I'm no the only one with "friends" like that. I know sometimes it can be difficult to get over things like this and I'm glad that you have the confidence to move on. Stay strong and if you ever need a friend over the computer, I'm here for ya! |
