Sorry I never told you

all that I wanted to say

never could I have imagined

that you would die today

though you have gone to a better place

I wish just once more i could see your face

have you hold me in your arms

and keep me safe from the worldly harms

in this world things happen way to fast

i thought our friendship would always last

but even though you have gone away

we will see eachother again someday

when it is time for me to die

i will get my chance to tell you why

I never said goodbye

I'm sorry about your friend. I have just lost a good friend of mine a few days ago and it was her funeral yesterday. I also wrote a poem about her...Goodbye Jessica. You know...we are lucky, we can express ourselves through poetry.

I'm extremely sorry about your loss. Just know you never really loose a friend, you will always be connected at heart. This was a wonderful poem and I enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work!

Hi my name is Rose and I like to call myself a poet, but that's just my opinion. I've never done this before so I'm not exactly sure what to do other than tell you how i feel about your poem. Beautiful! I love to read the kind of poetry that has so much emotion, you almost feel the sorrow as the words grace your eyes. Keep up the good work!
