Love’s Charade. Heart Beats and Sweet Dreams, Tied together with a smile, Rainbows and Melodies, Stacked to the highest pile. Flowers’ Scent and Sunshine’s Kiss, Brushed throughout fingers touch, Loving Gaze and Tender Smile, Laid upon me much. Eternity’s promise and Forever's Dream, Shattered without a thought, Trusts demise and Friendships death, My souls’ surrender brought. Tomorrow’s Hope and Future’s faith Lost with all the pain, Today’s Helping hand and Now’s goading touch, Is all that’s to remain. |

oh, and I thought it was happy from the first two stanzas despite the tittle.... Well, it is a very nice, if sad, poem. And as always,if you ever need, want to talk, I'm always here. "Sa souvraya niende missian ye." \ I am lost in my own mind. Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice From what I've tasted of desire, I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great, And would suffice. -Robert Frost |
