Rainbow in my heart. Rainbows only come after the rain, After the heavens have cried, No one can feel true love for themselves, Till they’ve known that feeling of loss. I let you in and trusted you then, Never knowing you could let me down, I thought that I’d be the exception to the rule, Who wrong can one person be? You proved there is no such thing as exceptions, To rules that must be applied, I wasn’t prepared for the storm that came next, The rain that came thundering down. Although my bright heart is now empty with doubt, I know that there must come a day, When I can look back on that time that we shared, With a smile that is shining with light. My rainbow will come and pass over my doubt, Shedding light on that cloudy past, And I’ll move on to the next day without fear in my heart, I know that you showed me the way. |

This is lovely, I am glad you are so positive about life. A rainbow is a beautiful thing to describe with. Great job and do keep posting. Love and hugs, Lizzie "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is my rainbow of delight." |

Ahhh, a very good outlook on the matter at hand and a very nice poem. Great use of my study hall time What else am I going to do? Study? "Sa souvraya niende missian ye." \ I am lost in my own mind. Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice From what I've tasted of desire, I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great, And would suffice. -Robert Frost |
