I'm saying that I love you. What is it that you think about that? I bet you just don't understand, you never do. Last night, I comprehended the feelings in my heart. But now, as I stare up into the stars my perception is wrong. How can I love you when you really don't care? How can I love you when you have hurt me so terribly? How can I love such an enemy to me? You just won't ever really and truly understand and care. There will be a day when you do, but until then I will keep myself one careful step away so I do not fall into your trap again. You will want me back I know, but I will be a strong chain bolted into the ground not moving anymore. You will not have me back. That I am sure of. |
