Love is not physical...

Many think that love is physical
but to me it's something magical.
Not just bodies emerged together,
but to souls destined for forever.

Wiping away the others tears,
comforting them through all of their fears.
Holding them without having to go further,
just comforted with being together.

Needing somone for all their joy,
not just a person to use as a toy.
When giving to them makes you smile,
and nothing about them puts you in denial.

Indeed, love is not a physical thing. It is a very sacred thing, in my view, and the word love should not be tossed about as freely as it is.

Love is something that we all look for in our lives. You are very right, love is not physical. Many young people and old alike struggle with what love truely is. I believe love is unslefish, giving, comforting, undemanding. May you find true love in your life journey.

I really like this one... and it is so true. It should not be merely physical, and if it really is love, then both people will realize that and it will be so much more. I can't tell you how much I wish everyone could know that. Great poem tho, keep it up!
