Memories of her won't leave my mind
Am I wrong to want to hold her, kiss her, love her
Reminiscing the time we spent together
Is what holds me back from moving on
Cause with you in my life I felt safe and cared for
Running from my problems is not the way to joy
I have to face it, confront it, get over it
Seldom there is a day I don't think about you

In class all I do is ponder the what ifs

Never in my life has a girl effected me like you do
Everything about you makes me want to sing
Eyes, yours are so mesmerizing, Smile, so comforting
Do I deserve someone so sweet and gentle

You may never even think about me anymore
Only if we could go back in time
Under the stars, talking on the swings, together

Is this a continuation of the girl I just can't have?

It's not the angry words that break the heart, it's the silence.

Someone said that true love is like a ghost -- often spoke of but never seen.
I've seen both and yet in my darkest hours, tend to believe that neither exits.
