Have you ever felt like a floating cloud? Wandering across the endless sky Alone up so high, apart from the rest Looking down at the world, a green and blue mess Have you ever felt like a bird in flight? Looking for something in the dark, lonely night Something of which you have no clue But knowing that something is looking too Have you ever felt as used as a ball? Bounced and shot to the goal on the wall Helping someone else win their fame And you have no choice but to play the game Have you ever felt like a new teddy bear Given to someone from someone who cares Being hugged and kept close, never out of sight Loving the attention, oblivious to spite Have you ever loved someone so bad That the thought of not seeing them made you sad And the thought of not talking fills your head You dream all day and when you go to bed Have you ever been so confused And not know what to do You tried to reason, you tried to think And all that still left you without a clue I have And so have you |

First off, welcome to Passsions! Second off, I love the poem and look forward to seeing more of your work, I can really identify! "The worst of what people do to one another is deceive. Because when you love someone you control their version of reality. If you lie to them that's like making them autistic so that what they believe is reality is in fact, not their true situation at all." It's not the angry words that break the heart, it's the silence. Someone said that true love is like a ghost -- often spoke of but never seen. I've seen both and yet in my darkest hours, tend to believe that neither exits. |
