Fighting with friends

When the pressures on to say the right thing
but you cant get it out and the bells gonna ring
misinterperated thoughts that came out at the wrong time
but all you got from the recipiant was "well fine"
you want to speak and make it all better
but all that happens is your face gets redder
times are tough and it feels so hard
but all that means is its time to speak your part
you thing she doesn't care, she gives you a glare
no words came out and all you could do was stare
I guess we'll leave it just this way
she doesn't get my drift or the way i behave
so i'll just let it be for now
beacause i dont have the balls to say it out loud

what can i do
what can i say
you sit there and stare like you dont even care
you talk and say things like i dont even matter
and that just makes me even sadder
we're not even the best of friends(yet)
but i thought we weren't gonna pretend
things are OK things are alright
everthing was cool as of last night
I'm not going to appoligize for the wah that i feel or what i say or even how i always mess and play
thats just the way i am
me, you cannot change but if its all the same to you
i'll do what i have to do.

Great work!! I have a few friends like that... but true best friends have their ups and downs and they always forgive and forget...

hhmmm...i have friends who always misintepret what i say...and then they get in a huff and don't talk to me for days on end sometimes:P
this is a great and so very realistic!

Welcome to Passions.

Unfortunately we all run into people like this in our lives. I liked these poems and the form you used. I might suggest as edit to clean up the typo's but other then that I enjoyed this.
