THE DREAMS WILL COME Beneath the shroud, proclaimed aloud, Under a glowing moon, A bitter thirst, hurts the worst, Swept away by a love monsoon, A girl so mere, a love to fear, Her compassion sheds my tears, I try to run, but my fate has won, and one day the dreams will come, It smolders unsevered, It festers forever, It's eating me alive, The nectar of life, the lord of my stryfe, into this void I dive, As does she, confides in me, She fears what will become, Unable to die, it will survive, and one day, the dreams will come. |
