This poem is for an ex boyfriend, Keith K. Even though it has been a year I still have these feelings for him that I can never hide and can never deny that I want to be truely his forever. I just wish he could understand.

A heart that can never be mended,
From a man that left my heart badly wounded,
Thinking about it a while I've come to conclude,
That no one could have loved me like you could,
Now everytime I see you I want you back,
But it's our ended love that we lack,
I wish for anything if you would see this poem, Think of the times when you'd follow where I roam,
I always enjoyed your company around,
Now I wanna love you? I can't hear the sound,
My life without you has been pure hell,
Because I jumped for your love and fell,
If you could only REALLY see what's happening to me,
I wish you could see how much we are meant to be,
We wanted to try again but you didn't care,
I often wonder if again you'll ever be there,
I sadly think not but why may I ask,
I guess I'll never know cuz you're a year in the past.

Chin up, chica! I know how you feel about Keith, but you have to remember that even though he was your first love, there will be someone else you will love, maybe more, maybe not- it all depends on what your heart tells you. Just remember that I'll help you through anything, just ask...

Oh dear, I wish I didn't realte to this poem. I do and it hurts doesn't it? Kristis right, chin up, smile on face. It can only get better b/c it can't get much worse, huh? Smile

Someone once said "to love and win is best, to love and lose can be better". Even though the heart hurts at times, it becomes stronger and wiser. That wisdom will serve you well one day.

I can relate, but the person I loved the most wasn't my first love, and we didn't spend a year together, only 3 weeks. But to this day, I still wonder about all the "what ifs?" And I wish he would listen to me. Keep your chin up, and hope in your heart, because maybe all your "what ifs" will be answered, or you'll find someone who is better than the last.
