Why Can't I Be Sure

She tells me she loves me, and I say the same
At the time I was sure, no doubts in my mind
Holding her in my arms, so tender and sweet
I whispered those words, so soft in her ear
Time has passed on, since that warm summer night
My feelings inside are so very mixed up, why can't I be sure as I once was
Maybe in time I'll figure it out, I know you'll be there when I know that it's true

You have to be HONEST
with yourself and each other.
This is nicely said and a topic
many have lived.
I think we should all try to be friends
FIRST there is no hurry, plenty of time.

I have to agree with Paul on this one. Be honest with her about your feelings- it's always best to be honest and straightforward than to beat around the bush and hurt someone even more.
