How many times is enough, Before you stop blinding me? How long will all this last, Before you let me be? I can't see through my hurt, I can't take much more pain, It seems that living these days, Is just an awful strain. Emotions are not play things, They belong to me not you. I want to get away from your ways, But I can never find my cue. My tragedy is my own, And I have to learn to cope. The worst feeling is not pain, But feeling like you've lost hope. |

I think the last two lines are really good! "The worst feeling is not pain but feeling like you've lost hope" This poem was well written! |

anonymous: dittos to danny's comment on the last two lines... poetically brilliant... you sum up the idea behind the poem extrordinarily well here... keep up the good work ![]() sincerely, jerome the mysterious priest And their bleating was like a wet salmon slapped upon the land---slap! slap! slap! |
