We don't like a lot of the same things,
but there is one thing we both like-
each other.

You've told me yourself that there
is something between us that
you've never felt.

You're afraid of what's in your heart-
and logic is the only way to go,
no matter how hard.

What are you so afraid of?
Is it our differences?
Or that we're so alike inside?

I just want you to know,
that my heart is with you,
no matter what you decide.

Nice poem.
I think that "liking" someone is the first step to a strong relationship. So often people get hurt by jumping in the deep end based on a first impression.
You see to have a mature approach in your writing.

Thanks for your reply, Danny. Well, liking the person I was writing about is definately true. I like him a lot, and fell hard for him, but I do know exactly what you're saying. I did get hurt, but if I would've jumped into the relationship faster, it would've hurt a lot more. Thanks for the advice, sweetie.
