It's the begining of spring and the snow is all melting, The weather is getting warmer and the sun is shining, It's the season of romance and for everyone's loving, For someone to love everyone is pushing me and shoving, But I don't know what is holding me back from giving, My poor heart is still in pain from all of my losing, I'm thankful for all my friends that are all helping, But I'm waiting for someone who will stop all my hurting, All I have been getting is men that do all the taking, In my room I look out the window and it is now raining, It is here in my sadness I'll be doing all my waiting. This is an excellent poem! I really liked this one, alot. As I was reading this it made me realize that I'm not the only one out there that is getting hurt, although I still feel really lonely. I'm trying to be happy, but it's not working. Keep your chin up, hon! The days have to get better sooner or later. Ohhh. I wouldn't worry about it. Your time will come when the man of your dreams will sweep you off your feet and cary you away. Until then, remember that it will be raining a lot until May.
