I've heard the choir children singing
They were dancing in the rain, carelessly
No worries surrounded them, nothing was wrong
Their voices rang throughout the night
I watched them from afar, looking on in envy
Their dreams had just begun, while mine were ending
I prayed for them right then and there
That their lives wouldn't end, they'd have something to live for
Their heart would have a rhythm that would make them dance
Dance like they were now, a dance of innocence
One that would beat through the streets of the town
I screamed, i cried that night, so that my prayer would be heard
It echoed in the skies, the vibration thundered in my ears
Now i rest, in the rain, in the streets, that held the children
The choir children who were singing once, who were dancing once
And now i rest, for my rhythm has died, but my prayer...
I prayed for them that night, i screamed and i cried
Their beat will live on, and my echoes will be heard

"It's my heart that pounds beneath my flesh
it's my mouth that pushes out this breath..."-FTE

Every prayer uttered is heard! May your spirit lift with your prayers!

Amazing Nights! You have incredible talent. This is probably the best I've read from you. Very impressive.

And leave you like they left me here
To wither in denial
The bitterness of one who's left alone
