The dance was a signifing moment in my life. One that would forever change me. I contemplated going, went back and forth. I finally fell for what you said. I went into the dance happy and excited. I left the dance hurt and sad. You called me 2 hours later and said it was a mistake, that we belonged together. I thought my life was complete agian. Went on a week with a great feeling. But three weeks later I found you in bed with another girl. The strageness of this matter it that I truly believed that she had made you do this. And that I was your true love. Until another week passed and logic started to seep into my head. I started feeling distant and far away from your love. I walked into the next dance sad and empty. But after five short minutes I am dancing and having a good time, now safe from your pain and free. -Stacye Walters- [This message has been edited by potrygirl (edited 02-19-2000).] |

Glad to hear your beyond the pain and FREE! You told the story well and I like the ending. Too bad that some guys are that way, (not all I hope), just keep your eyes open and don't give away your heart too easily. Thanks for the e-mail. Continue writing! Danny |
