This is a humourous poem and nothing in it reflects reality in the least. I wrote this so we all could have a laugh. I wrote a similar one about poets in open. I hope you enjoy and take it as it was written, in jest.

I was walking in the park on day,
When much to my surprise.
Out jumped a bunch of lunatics,
Each one was in disguise.

Each one had on a name tag,
and much to my chagrin.
I knew every simgle name,
That was entered in.

shock_gospel was on a soapbox,
Doing a little jig.
While encounter was on the ground,
Acting like a pig.

sweet college_girl was looking,
Up to outer space.
chic was dancing manbo,
And was picking up the pace.

poetry_kills was swinging from a tree,
Banana in his mouth.
Alwye was on a higher branch,
Trying to fly south.

Master sauntered up to me,
And looked me in the eye.
Told me he was superman,
And he would never die.

Jer was in the sandbox,
Stirring up mud pies.
Love Bug was happly eating,
Thinking they were french fries.

Mistikman was swimming,
In amoungst the grass.
Angel was right with him,
Fishing for some bass.

Dusk Treader was a singing,
A top a litter can.
Kevin was a moaning,
Won't you be my man?

Dean was blowing bubbles,
And jumping with pure glee.
Astrea was jumping double dutch,
But jumping on her knees.

Mike Sacks was on the monkey bars,
Yodeling into space.
While Tamma and Star Fairy,
Where in a three legged race.
(Just the two of them!?)

In the midst of this confusion,
i was totally aghast.
There was another me,
Playing with a piece of glass.

I looked around in wonder,
My eyes near out my head.
I turned around, got out of there,
Went home and back to bed.

Hehe, so cool Marilyn!  Thanks for including my crazy self in your poem!    I'm sorry about my singing skills, a little lacking.. but give me a garbage can in the middle of a park with bright blue skies above and how can I resist?

Great idea!  Thanks for a smile!

marilyn: well... i can't speak for anyone else, but you got myself and "encounter" just right... (cept he acts more like a cat)... thanks for the note of humor in the midst of the chaos of life...

sincerely appreciative,
jerome the boy with no brain

A savage place! as holy and enchanted
As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted
By woman wailing for her demon-lover!
