I would like you all to welcome your new Moderators. I hope you will accept them as you have accepted me. Jer and Poetry_Kills will be our 2 new moderators on this forum. Please help me to welcome them.

Welcome Jer and Poetry_Kills. I am very glad to have you helping Krista and myself.

And no better two people for the job, I should think, from what I can tell from my on and off travels to the computer and back to reality.  Congratulations!  Well deserved positions.

um... *confused* alright... um... first of all, thank you, and i hope that i can help make the forum a better place for all the poets here... i went to my shakespeare class and came back with a moderator *heh*... so mabye i missed something?... i honestly dont know the rules of the forum, so if one of the 3 other moderators could please point me to them so i could familiarize myself with them?  also... i know there are requirements for this position... i probably should learn those also...

Congrats to ya both, Jer and Poetry_kills.  I was logged on not even an hour ago, and things were fine, but now you two are moderators?  *Smiles jokingly* What is this world coming to?  Anyhoo, congrats again.  Now you'll both have to read my poetry.  Hee, hee...  But, to echo everyone else's question, how do you become a moderator?

Ok, Ok! I am here..lol. Basically what happened was this. I asked Ron for some extra help in here because quite frankly I was getting burnt out reading all the time. I wasn't writing (haven't written a prose in over a month...*pout*). I threw in some suggestions as well as other moderators and Ron made the decision. It is an arbitrary decision and it is Ron's. he hunts up all of the interested parties posts and he gets a feel for them. If he likes what he sees and he thinks you have a good head on your shoulders..well..I guess your in. He also asks all the other moderators their opinions on the candidate.

There isn't much to it. Ron makes the decisions and he is the guru who makes all the wonderful things happen around here. Now I have the time to work on the mentorship program with PDV!! I am so excited!
